Use the Quick Bar to pull up a list of links in the Sidebar, which you define in an Airtable base. You can add as many links as you want and set each link to appear on a specific host page or every page.

Requirements

Airtable: To start, create an Airtable Base with three columns to define which links appear on which pages in the sidebar. Your base must have the following column headers:

• Host (define a host page like "www.pixiebrix.com" or write "everywhere")
• Type (the link or button caption)
• URL (the link)

Here's an Airtable Base with the correct format.

Quick Bar: You must set up the Quick Bar if you have not done so. To do this, follow the Quick Bar setup documentation.

Activate the Mod

1. Activate this mod. If you're not logged into PixieBrix or have not previously created a PixieBrix account, you'll be prompted to do so before continuing the activation flow for this mod.

2. Once logged in, use the PixieBrix Extension Console to configure the Airtable integration by selecting the Airtable Base you created and adding the correct Tab Name, or TableID. To find the Table ID, view the Airtable in your browser, and get the second string in the URL that starts with tbl. Copy everything between the /. Example: tblxlsNLi7ztSJzHk.

1. Finish activating this mod by clicking "Activate" in the Extension Console.

Try it Out

1. On any webpage, activate the Quick Bar using the keyboard shortcut you configured in the Quick Bar setup documentation. Choose "Show Related Links"
   
   

2. Voila 🎉 PixieBrix returns your Related Links in the sidebar. Click one to go to the link.
