Overview

Translate text from an image using OCR and language translation APIs.

Activate the Blueprint

  1. Activate this . If you're not logged into PixieBrix or you have not previously created a PixieBrix account, you'll be prompted to do so before continuing the activation flow for this .

  2. Once you are logged in, use the PixieBrix Extension Console to configure the two integrations that this uses.

  3. Finish activating this by clicking "Activate" in the Extension Console

Try it Out

  1. Find an image that has text that you would like to translate. For example, you could use the image below

  2. Right-click, and select "Translate with OCR"

  3. In the popup modal, configure the Image language and Target language. Also, use the Image Cropper to specify the portion of the image that you would like to translate. Finally, click "Submit" to execute the translation.
